Simple, easy, home-style cuisine that you’d find in just about any Mexican home, recreated for the American kitchen. This meal was my favorite “everyday” meal growing up in Mexico, and one I regularly make for my own family today. I am proud to share the steps so that you can enjoy it too.


Hola Pati! I watched this episode and was amazed at learning about Chayote Squash – I’d never even heard of this before. Watching you make it with your beautiful presentation and explanations, I cannot wait to try it! Do you think I would have to go to a specialty store to find Chayote Squash? And your chicken looked so delicious, I could almost smell the aroma!!
I am such a big fan of yours. You articulate so beautifully as your words flow like music!! I even got my husband to watch this episode with me and he really enjoyed it as well!!
