"America is obsessed with television food celebrities. Somewhere along the way, we forgot that, in the kitchen, there just isn't any substitute for passion and talent. We've conveniently chosen to ignore that fact that many of these "stars" are neither food experts nor stars.

However, we have our own right here in DC, and she is always a star, even when there aren't any TV cameras around.

Her name is Pati Jinich, and she is the chef and host of PBS's Mexican Table and teaches Mexican cooking classes by the same name at the Mexican Cultural Institute that are a foodie's dream..."

We love watching your show on PBS and live just south of Washington DC. Please include us when you set your 2012 schedule for classes and anything else that the public may join. I would also appreciate information on how to sign up for your cooking classes at the Mexican Cultural Institute.

Pati! My husband and I just found your show, and we watch every day. We love that you make traditional Mexican food with ingredients that we can find here in the U.S. We are so looking forward to trying some of your recipes-- they look so delicious, and always beautiful! Thank you for what you do!

HI Patti, watched your show for the first time, awesome! I caught only a part of it. Can you tell me what time and day your program is? I viewed it on PBS in Portland or., really interested in your recipe featured on March 6,2012. Can you give me a heads up on that event?
