What a ride it has been...
From writing the pitch, to finding the extraordinary editor Rux Martin, to recipe re-testing, writing, working with the fabulous team at Houghton, Mifflin, Harcourt and having my food photographed by the amazing Penny de los Santos. I'm so excited about your book, and can't wait to get it on order myself. I've got a few months left of deployment, but I can't wait to get back home and start cooking up some of your amazing recipes...I've been collecting them up from your blog/FB...so glad you'll have them all in a book!

Dear Pati, I just ordered two advanced copies of your cookbook! My husband and I have attended a few of your cooking events at the Mexican Cultural Institute, which by the way, are the best!
