Cooking demonstration and tasting dinner at the Mexican Cultural Institute.

The Yucatan Peninsula is known as the culinary outlier in Mexico because it boasts a cuisine so distinct from the rest of the country that it occupies its own universe of flavors. Explore how a pumpkin seed sauce can enhance regular enchiladas, savor Venison marinated in a Bitter Orange sauce and learn why there is a dessert called "Poor Gentleman" that can make anyone a wealthy patron.

I recently vacationed in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, and enjoyed their cuisine. I had a salbute with a spicy red pork topping reminds me of cochinita pibil or what I know it as asado de puerco. Those were delicious reminded me of a gorditas very common in South Texas. Will you have any episodes of that cuisine of Mexico?

Yes, absolutely, I'm planning on it. You know, Ricardo, the cuisine from Yucatán is so unique from the rest of Mexico.
